Hello friends!
With school finally over, its time for me to start focusing more on this blog and a few other things I need to work on. I love writing this blog, and while there have been a few hiccups and trial and errors, it’s been so exciting doing this. Sharing my favorite books with you. Sharing ideas and gossip and just random musings with you all.
This is an ever changing blog because the world is ever changing. Technology is ever changing. Books are ever changing. I want this to flow and be open to change so it doesn’t get stale. I want this to grow into something wonderful and beautiful and fun.

Recently, there’s been more than a few interesting things happening in the book world. It seems like every day, there’s some new gossip happening, like last week with the hockey romance and the reviewer/fan who got a little too excited about a team and their members. I am a huge hockey fan, but hockey romances isn’t a thing I’ve been into. No idea why, just haven’t. But I don’t tend to read sports themed romances. No hate on those who do. I once went through a phase where I was reading military themed romances. Who knows what’s going to rev one’s buttons.
Because of all the gossip, I thought I ‘d start a segment called Talk & Tea where I spill all the interesting book related gossip that’s going on just for that time. If something gets really interesting, I’ll do a longer blog on it, but for the meantime, just a little of bit bi-weekly gossip.

Once again, I’m coming up with ideas for my bi-weekly musings section. I have a list but if anyone would like to see something specific, you know where my comment section is. Drop a line!
I’m trying to find an easy task based application to keep all my deadlines and ideas in one convenient place. There was Trello or Asana. I think I tried Trello once, but I just confused me. I just signed up for Asana so we’ll see how that works. Is anyone trying any of these? How do they work for you? That might be a segment; watch Mouse try to figure out her task based application and how to make it work for her.

One half of 2023 has passed. This is usually the time when I start looking at this blog and seeing what works and what isn’t. It’s sorting to be like a mid-year review. And speaking of mid year things, it’s about time for me to hit Little Inklings Design to see when their 2024 yearly book calendars are going up for sale.
Don’t forget friends, my birthday month celebration is still going on. Like or leave a comment for the giveaway on September 1st.
Summer is almost over. School is back in session and there are less than 20 days before the pools close again. Remember to take time out for yourself, friend. Relax, grab your favorite drink and curl up with a good book.
I’m glad you’re able to focus on your blog now. Excited to read more book recommendations!
