The end of August is right around the corner. Like right around the corner, some Americans are getting ready for a three-day holiday.
For me, it’s time to play catch up. Outside assignments that need to be finished. Books to be read. Other books that need reviews written up because I forgot about them.
So again, it’s time for me to take my September hiatus. To catch up on everything and organize my calendar for the rest of the year.

Bear with me friends while I get everything back into order. I’ll be back in October with horror book reviews and then we’ll move into the rest of the year with reviews and recommendations and the Yearly wrap up.
I have Jordan Peele’s anthology, Out there Screaming, I can’t wait to let you all know about. In October, Bookish by Matthew Sweet will be released in the US and CM Alongi’s book Heart of Iron will be released as well. So there are so many books to read and tell you all about.

Stick around. There’s so much more to read about. In the meantime, don’t forget to visit this month’s bookstore, Boswell Book Company for your book needs. One of the things I will do this month is finally update the Bookstore of the Month section so you can chose which independent bookstores you can support.

Enjoy the last days of summer friends. See you in October. And remember, to take time out to relax with a good book.
